Position Overview:

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating compelling visual assets that span digital spaces and beyond, with a focus on social media, digital marketing campaigns, and packaging projects. This role requires a balance of quick-turn-around creative for fast-paced channels and thoughtful design for larger-scale brand projects. Our ideal candidate is very detail-oriented, fluent in brand storytelling, and comfortable working on projects from ideation of concepts to thorough execution, all as part of a team of creatives.

This person should be versatile, engaged, and ready to own their space.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design and execute social media graphics, digital ads, email marketing assets, and other digital content, as needed, for multiple clients at a time.

  • Collaborate on packaging design projects, from concept development to print-ready files.

  • Take ownership of the entire design process; you’ll be expected to pitch relevant ideas and be a key player in brainstorming through various projects.

  • Work closely with the creative and strategy team to maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints for clients.

  • Translate strategic direction into high-quality, innovative design while meeting deadlines.

  • Stay up on current industry, marketing, and design trends and best practices.

  • We operate with a hybrid model, so you’re expected to be at our Boulder studio, 2 days a week.

  • Someone who gets excited about design in a general sense, from the simple (newsletters and social posts) to the elaborate (branding, identities, and packaging design)

  • You’re well-familiar with social media platforms and can create work that functions successfully for each channel accordingly

Qualifications:

  • You have 2-4 years of experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, ideally on the brand or agency side.

  • You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and familiar with Figma.

  • Your familiarity with Monday and Slack is a plus!

  • You have a strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital and print design work.

  • Your experience in packaging design is required.

  • You have a strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.

  • You can manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a collaborative setting.

  • You have excellent communication skills and are open to receiving feedback.

  • You’re nimble and self-sufficient, able to manage your time well.

  • You’re ready to bring new ideas to the table and bring them to life intentionally.

Compensation for this role is dependent on experience (DOE) and qualifications. In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected base salary range for this position is $55,000 – $75,000 annually. Final offer will be based on relevant experience, demonstrated skills, and the scope of responsibilities.
